§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeRevenue spending on health services in north-western region increased by 101.l per cent. in cash terms between 1978–79 and 1983–84, representing an increase in real terms of 18.1 per cent. after taking account of general inflation as measured by the gross domestic product deflator.
