§ Mr. Giles ShawNo. We understand from the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis that regular discussions take place at divisional level with councils about changes in the environment, including improvements to street lighting, designed to reduce the opportunities for crime. We also understand that crime 395W prevention panels and community-police consultative groups have initiated similar discussion with councils in the Metropolitan police district.
