§ Mr. DunnIt is for local education authorities and schools to consider the implications of the Government's policy statement on science education and to develop and implement their own policies accordingly, within the resources available to them. As the policy statement says, the first essential is to use those resources to the best possible effect, taking account of the impact of falling rolls in secondary schools.
