§ Dr. David Clarkasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on how many occasions since 1982 farmers in the less-favoured areas have been refused hill livestock compensatory allowances on all or part of their flocks, on the grounds that stocking levels are causing damage to semi-natural vegetations and wildlife communities; and whether any farms refused such allowances were situated in either a site of special scientific interest or a national park.
§ Mr. MacGregorI regret that information in the form requested is not available.
