HC Deb 03 June 1985 vol 80 c90W
Dr. David Clark

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on how many occasions since 1982 farmers in the less-favoured areas have been refused hill livestock compensatory allowances on all or part of their flocks, on the grounds that stocking levels are causing damage to semi-natural vegetations and wildlife communities; and whether any farms refused such allowances were situated in either a site of special scientific interest or a national park.

Mr. MacGregor

I regret that information in the form requested is not available.
