asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he will be appointing new chaimen and members to the special health authorities for London postgraduate teaching hospitals; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. John Patten

The term of office of six chairmen of the special health authorities for London postgraduate teaching hospitals and some 80 members ends on 31 March 1986. We are currently seeking nominations for these posts and if hon. Members wish to recommend any individuals I invite them to write to me by 30 September 1985. Reappointments and changes will be announced in due course.
