§ Mr. Winnickasked the Prime Minister if she will receive a deputation of tenants from the Rosehill estate, Willenhall, Walsall, to discuss the inability of the local authority to undertake work necessary to improve conditions on the estate; an if she will make a statement.
§ The Prime MinisterA deputation of tenants from the Rosehill estate has already met officials from the Department of the Environment at the Department's offices on 18 July. The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State has subsequently written to the hon. Member about the issues raised at that meeting. While I understand the concern of the hon. Member I do not think there would be much purpose in me seeing a further deputation of council tenants.
