§ Mr. MacfarlaneMy right hon. Friend has now completed his consideration of the objections to the Avon county structure plan and to his proposed modifications published last July. He has today approved the plan subject to modifications. The structure plan will be the framework for local plans and for the control of development in the county. It will become operative on 16 August 1985.
