§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list those water supplies in Wales which do not 636W fulfil the requirements of the European Economic Community directive on drinking water, with regard to the levels of aluminium, iron, manganese and lead in such supplies.

At the commencement of the programme the authority identified that supplies serving some 600,000 people needed remedial work. Improvements to date have reduced this number substantially.
