§ Mr. WhitneyOur policy on single payments for furniture to young people who obtain tenancies of unfurnished accommodation has regard, among other factors, to how recently the claimant has become a tenant, the reasons for leaving the previous address, the health of the claimant and any dependants, the length of time the claimant has been in receipt of supplementary benefit and the availability of suitable alternative furnished accommodation.
