§ 57. Mr. Andrew MacKayasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a further statement on structure plans in the south-east.
§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe position remains as in my right hon. Friend the Minister for Local Government's reply of 6 February at column925, to my hon. Friend's earlier question, except that the east Sussex third alteration was approved by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State on 9 May 1985. Berkshire county council is, I understand, considering the public response to its second consultation document on the review of its structure plans. Many of the policies in the plans for west and central Berkshire expire in 1986 and I hope therefore that the county council will see the need to submit a replacement plan before the end of this year.
