§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe information we have readily available relates to the gross earnings, from which dentists have to meet their expenses, of dentists in Great Britain included in the calculations of the dental rates study group. This excludes assistants (whose earnings are included in those of their employers) and certain other dentists, for example those who have been on NHS lists for less than a year.
