§ Sir George YoungAllowance for passive solar gain is permitted for commercial and industrial buildings in the present regulations. After the new system of building control has been brought into operation later this year, the requirements for the conservation of fuel and power will be reviewed. This review will include consideration of developments in the design of passive solar energy.
