§ Mr. RaisonCommitments of multilateral and bilateral net official development assistance (ODA) for the years 1979–83 for the United Kingdom and the other donors are as follows.

The ways in which aid funds are used in order to achieve similar objectives to the aid trade provision differ substantially between donors. Statistics which identify separately financial packages provided by other donors and which are equivalent to the air trade provision are reported to the OECD Secretariat, and provided on a confidential basis to all OECD members, as part of the agreed effort to achieve transparency and greater discipline in this area.
