Mr. Dobson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give (a) for the period 1979–80 to 1984–85 and (b) for the period 1980–81 to 1984–85 the average increase in pay levels of the following categories of staff: (i) nursing and midwifery, (ii) medical and dental, (iii) professional and technical, (iv) works, (v) maintenance, (vi) administrative and clerical, (vii) ancillary and (viii) all National Health Service directly employed staff, in England.
