§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeOur guidance circular requires health authorities to allow Ministers the opportunity to express their views on all proposals for regional and district general manager appointments before formal decisions are taken. No unit general manager appointments have yet been made, but they are primarily the responsibility of the regional health authorities. Information on individual candidates is, and should remain, confidential.
There have been no such appointments for the family practitioner committees.
