§ Mr. TrippierLocal enterprise week 1985 will be held from 15 to 25 May. I have written to a wide range of organisations asking them to participate and have received a good response. A special theme for the week will be the importance of education and training for the development of small firms. It is too early to give a full programme of events during the week, but I expect there to be a large number of local activities to promote the help available to small firms. My Department will be co-ordinating these events regionally and will work with national and local media to ensure publicity for activities during the week.
