§ Mr. William Rossasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many persons with addresses in the Irish Republic have been granted the tenancy of Housing Executive dwellings in Northern Ireland in each of the last three years.
§ Mr. Chris Patten[pursuant to his reply, 22 January 1985, c. 390]: This is a matter for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. However, I understand from the chairman that the information is not readily available in the form requested and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. The information which is available was collected for the year 1983–84 only and relates to external applicants generally — that is, those with addresses anywhere outside Northern Ireland—and is as follows:
