§ Mr. RaisonOur aid is designed to benefit Palestinians who need assistance. None goes directly to Palestinianorganisations. Our chief contributions to Palestinian welfare have been indirect, through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), to which we are one of the largest contributors; through the European Community; and through British voluntary agencies working with Palestinians for their welfare and development.
