§ Mr. Hannamasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what increase has been made in the provision for home insulation grants in Scotland contained in the total local authority housing capital allocations for 1985–86, to take account of the first full year of the operation of the topping-up grants for loft insulation under the homes insulation grant scheme.
§ Mr. AncramThe allocation of resources for homes insulation grants is made separately from local authority housing capital allocations. The allocation has not yet been made for 1985–86, but £0.7 million has been included in the total amount available for distribution to local authorities in order to meet additional demands for grant for topping-up existing loft insulation.
