§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if he proposes any further changes to the structure of the Atomic Energy Authority following the review of the role and activities of the authority in 1984;
(2) what progress has been made in implementing the recommendation of the recent review of the role of the Atomic Energy Authority that the authority should operate on a trading fund basis; if he proposes to introduce legislation to amend the Atomic Energy Authority Act 1954 to enable the authority to borrow in the financial markets; and if he will make a statement.
