§ Sir George YoungLocal authorities housing investment programme allocations in England for 1985–86 includes £31 million for the homes insulation scheme.
For 1984–85 the allocation is £35 million. Latest estimates suggest an expenditure of some £31 million for 1984–85, which includes the first 9 months of operation of the scheme since it was extended to the topping-up of existing insulation.
