§ Mr. RifkindThe United Kingdom does not obtain its arms and military equipment of the type covered by Security Council resolution 558 from South Africa. We supported the adoption of SCR 558 and expect other UN member states to consider carefully its provisions, but it is a non-mandatory resolution.
