§ Mr. LeeThe aircraft accident investigation report on this accident has now been completed. It shows that the aircraft struck a bird, causing damage which led to difficulties in the control of the aircraft. The pilot decided there was no option but to eject, which both crew did safely. The accident has been judged to be attributable to the bird strike.
