§ Mr. LeeMy right hon. Friend the Minister of State for Defence Procurement met senior representatives of British Aerospace earlier this month and discussed a variety of issues affecting the prospective European fighter aircraft programme. My right hon. Friends the Secretary of State for Defence, and the Minister of State for Defence Procurement expect to have further discussions with the company in the near future. Senior officials of my Department are in frequent contact with the company.
