asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proportion of Scottish children have been immunised against measles by school age.

The information is not available in precisely the form requested. By the end of 1983 (the latest year for which complete figures are available) 56.5 per cent. of the number of children born in 1978 had been immunised against measles. The corresponding figure for children born in 1979 and immunised by the end of 1984 is estimated to be 60 per cent.
