HC Deb 22 February 1985 vol 73 c628W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Prime Minister if, in the light of the Attorney General's statement on 12 February, Official Report, column 180, and the papers laid before the House by the Secretary of State for Defence on 18 February, she will make it the practice of Her Majesty's Government to consider answering on their merits individual parliamentary questions about discussions between Ministers and the advice given by officials to Ministers.

Mr. Biffen

I have been asked to reply.

No. The Government have made it very clear that this was an entirely—I hope uniquely—exceptional case.
