§ Mr. RentonDuring the past year my right hon. and learned Friend and other Foreign and Commonwealth Office Ministers have taken every opportunity presented by visits to Commonwealth countries and the visits of Commonwealth colleagues to the United Kingdom to discuss the special needs of small states. My noble Friend Baroness Young led the United Kingdom delegation to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference last autumn at which this was an agenda item. We look forward to holding further discussions later this year when the Commonwealth Secretary-General presents the results of the special study commissioned by the Commonwealth Heads of Government at their meeting in New Delhi in November 1983.
