§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he proposes to make, under section 24 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971, a special development order for the geological examination of a site at Elstow in Bedfordshire.
§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe special development order will cover geological investigations both for Elstow and for at least two other sites which NIREX has been asked to select for consideration along with Elstow. It will be laid before Parliament as soon as possible after NIREX has announced the other sites it wishes to investigate.
