§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what response he has had so far to the invitation from his Department to the conference of doctors and pathologists which it wishes to arrange on the care of babies.
§ Mr. John PattenThe conference has been arranged to focus attention on post neonatal mortality following the publication of the report of the multi-centre study funded by the Department. The response so far to invitations sent to national organisations, representatives of the health professions, individual researchers, and others with a particular interest in their field is very encouraging.
