§ Lord James Douglas-Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will publish a table giving the European Economic Community grants for the various European Economic Community funds which have been made available in the Edinburgh area.
§ Mr. YoungerThe table shows the monies received for both infrastructure and industrial projects in the Edinburgh area from the European regional development fund and for agricultural projects in the Edinburgh area under the European agricultural guidance and guarantee fund (FEOGA) scheme. Scotland as a whole also benefits from grants from the European social fund but it is not possible to provide a breakdown of the figures for individual areas. Edinburgh has not, as yet, benefited from the European Coal and Steel Community grants.
