asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether he has any estimates of changes in the level of air traffic between the United Kingdom and the Netherlands as a result of the agreement reached between the two Governments in summer 1984.

London-Amsterdam traffic was 16 per cent. higher in the second half of 1984 than in the same period in 1983. This percentage increase is significantly greater than for traffic to Paris or Brussels or to Europe as a whole.
