§ Mr. EggarOn 6 December we voted in favour of a United Nations General Assembly resolution calling upon the Chilean authorities to end human rights violations and supporting the special rapporteur's mandate to visit Chile. We shall continue to encourage the Chilean Government towards restraint, and dialogue with the democratic opposition.
