§ Sir Keith JosephThe Department makes various international statistical comparisons to aid policy evolution and publishes, periodically, statistical bulletins which summarise the work undertaken. Comparisons of this nature are never straightforward and the differences114W between the educational systems of the countries concerned need to be well understood. This booklet has been produced as an aid to all making such comparisons.
