§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what information he has on recent talks between the United States Government and the MPLA Government of Angola concerning Cuban troop withdrawal and Namibian independence.
§ Mr. RifkindA meeting between representatives of the Governments of the United States and Angola was held in Lusaka at the end of November. A further meeting is likely to take place shortly. The content of the discussions remains confidential.
