§ Mr. Ian StewartThe Public Works Loan Board lends to local authorities at both fixed and variable rates of interest. Fixed rates are published regularly in the London and EdinburghGazettes, copies of which are available in the Library. Variable rates are quoted to borrowers on application to the board.
