§ Mr. Alan ClarkOvertime working by operatives in manufacturing industries in Great Britain was 12.35 million hours a week in September (Seasonally Adjusted). Overtime has remained around 12 million hours a week since Februay 1985 (discounting the April figure which was affected by Easter); this represents the highest level since mid-1980.
