§ Mrs. FennerIn accordance with current policy my Department will continue to take action against badgers when tuberculous badgers pose a threat to cattle. I will in due course be reviewing that policy in the light of the recommendations made to me by the team which I have appointed to re-examine the problem of badgers and bovine tuberculosis.
§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he expects to receive the report of Professor Dunnet's review team considering the slaughter of badgers.
§ Mrs. FennerI hope that Professor Dunnet's review team will be in a position to report its findings to me and the Secretary of State for Wales by autumn this year.
