Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the reply of 28 March, Official Report, columns 282–83, if he will provide details of the districts involved in the identification parade survey carried out in 1982 and 1983.

Mr. Giles Shaw

All districts of the Metropolitan police were included in the survey in 1982 and 1983, except the Thames division, which polices the river Thames.
