Mr. Adamsasked the Attorney-General if he will request a report from the chief constable of Leicestershire concerning alleged criminal offences committed by students at Loughborough university on the evening of 1 April; and if he will make a statement.
§ The Attorney-GeneralI have no power to require a chief officer of police to provide a report of the nature suggested. However, I understand that the Leicester constabulary has informed the Home Office that it has received no complaint of any criminal offence alleged to have been committed by students at Loughborough university on the evening of 1 April.
