§ Sir George Young[pursuant to his answer, 4 April 1985, c. 760]: No such requests have been refused. Consent to an application under section 9 of the Local Government (Interim Provisions) Act 1984 for a contract for vehicle hire was given on 29 March. Applications for consent to contracts for services and printing contained in an application dated 28 March are being considered.
