Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give the names of the upper limb prostheses manufacturers supplying his Department, and if he will give the percentage of prostheses they supply; if he will give the names of the lower limb prostheses manufacturers who supply his Department, and if he will give the percentage of such limbs supplied by each company; and if he will make a statement.

All upper limb prostheses provided by the Department are supplied by Hugh Steeper Limited.

Lower limb prostheses are supplied by the following manufacturers. Figures are for new lower limbs supplied to the Department from January to June 1984.
