§ Mr. Cyril D. Townsendasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he is yet in a position to announce who is to be the new chairman of the Manpower Services Commission.
Mr. KingI have today appointed Mr. Bryan Nicholson, the chairman of Rank Xerox UK, to be the new chairman of the Manpower Services Commission in succession to Lord Young. Mr. Nicholson has been appointed on secondment for a three-year term and will take up his appointment immediately.
