§ Mr. ScottEstimated net recurrent expenditure on the provision of school meals in the financial year 1984–85 is £22.5 million. There, were 2,366 boarding pupils in the 611W 1982–83 school year; it is estimated that it would cost approximately £120,000 per year to subsidise their midday meals.
