§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandPrior to the trial of John Preece there was a meeting between members of the Crown Office legal staff and Dr. Clift. Dr. Clift was given at that meeting a report prepared in connection with another case to use as a style for the reports he had to produce for the Scottish court proceedings, his earlier statement being in a form appropriate only for English procedure. Discussion was limited to the style of presentation. There was no discussion of the blood group of the murdered woman.
