§ Mr. Lathamasked the Prime Minister what information she has received regarding a possible visit to the United Kingdom in December by Yasser Arafat; and whether she will ensure that such a visit is not permitted in the interests of security and public order.
§ The Prime MinisterI am aware of reports that Mr. Arafat may wish to visit Britain privately in connection with the publication of a biography of him. If Mr. Arafat confirms that he does wish to come to this country, we should need to take into account the security implications before issuing a visa.
