§ Mr. Chopeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the chief constable of Hampshire as to how many members of the Hampshire constabulary have been injured whilst carrying out duties connected with the mining dispute.
§ Mr. Giles ShawThe chief constable of Hampshire tells me that in the period from 14 March to 22 November inclusive, 40 of his officers were injured while carrying out duties connected with the mining dispute.
