§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Attorney-General whether he will publish in the Official Report a list of European Economic Community measures enacted with the aid of article 235 of the Treaty of Rome since 1 January 1973.
§ The Attorney-GeneralArticle 235 is the legal basis, or one of the legal bases, for several hundred European Economic Community measues, including most environmental, industrial, regional development and consumer protection legislation. An itemised list of such measures is not readily available, but if it can be made available, without disproportionate cost, I will send a copy to the hon. Member.
