§ Mr. Gordon Brownasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement of the next stages of the work of the social security review teams following the public hearings.
§ Mr. Newton[pursuant to his reply, 16 November 1984, c. 385]: The review teams are assessing the evidence they have received, and are aiming to report by the end of this year. We shall then seek to draw the results together with a view to publishing our conclusions and proposals in the early part of next year.
