HC Deb 19 November 1984 vol 68 cc60-1W
Mr. Freud

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when Her Majesty's Inspectors of Schools last visited St. George's school, Great Finborough, Stowmarket; what were their findings; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Dunn

This school was the subject of a full inspection by Her Majesty's inspectors in November 1982. Their report, which was published on 8 March 1983, found overall standards of provision to be reasonably satisfactory. A further visit by Her Majesty's Inspectors in June 1984 confirmed their general impression.

Mr. Freud

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many representations have been received by his Department in respect of St. George's school, Great Finborough, Suffolk, in the last five years.

Mr. Dunn

45 from various sources, though no complaints from parents of pupils.
