§ Mr. McQuarrieasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement on the outcome of the Agriculture Council meeting held in Brussels on 12 and 13 November.
§ Mr. Jopling[pursuant to his reply, 14 November 1984, c. 295]: I am now in a position to make a further statement about the collection of milk supplementary levy. I understand that the Commission has now decided to extend by 10 days the time allowed for the first levy payment, so that it would have more time to consider what to do. In the meantime, the intervention board will not be calling for the payment of levy. I understand that the Milk 373W Marketing Board for Northern Ireland will be making its November payments to producers without any levy deductions.
